JACQUELINE DOMJANIĆ

Jacqueline Domjanić was born on 28th September 1980 in Albstadt-Ebingen, Germany.

 

She graduated at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology in 2006 and achieved the title of graduate engineer of textile technology. After the graduation she enrolled in postgraduate studies at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology.

 

After the graduation she attended practical training in duration of two months in the dessous company Nina von C, Albstadt-Tailfingen, Germany. In the same year she got a job as a Technologist in the dessous company Domjanić tekstil in Croatia.

 

In December 2007 she started her academic career at the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb, where she is still employed as an assistant. At university studies she has been teaching undergraduate, graduate courses: Clothing Construction I, Clothing Construction II, and Clothing Construction III, Clothing Production, Organization of Production Lines and Product Organization and at professional studies courses: Clothing Construction I, Clothing Construction II and Modelling of Clothing.

 

In September 2013 she got Ph.D. degree at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology, with the theme ”3D Surface Models and Geometric Morphometric Analysis of Female Feet” under the mentorship of Prof. Darko Ujević, University of Zagreb and O.Univ.-Prof. Dr.phil. Horst Seidler, University of Vienna.

She had actively participated in projects entitled: Anthropometric Measurements and Adaptation of Garment Size System, 3D modelling of human body based on anthropometric measurement, Anthropometry under special consideration of life and early factors with an applied approach for the garment industry.

 

In the year 2011 she attended a training program for measuring needle penetration force on knitted fabrics, Denkendorf, Germany.

 

In the year 2011 she attended a training program for 3D Foot Scanner PEDUS, Human-Solutions, Germany.

 

In the year 2012 she spent six weeks as a Visiting Scientist at the Faculty of Life Science University of Vienna, she attended lectures and intensive courses of Morphometrics: The study of biological forms and was personally trained by Dr. Philipp Mitteröcker.

 

The University of Zagreb awarded her with one-month research grant at the University of Vienna in 2013.

Her research activity is in technical sciences, 3D modelling of human body based on anthropometric measurements, geometric morphometric analysis of human body shape, clothing production.

 

She has written a book chapter, published an original scientific paper published in a journal indexed in Current Content (CC), 14 scientific conference papers with international peer-review, 4 other refereed conference papers, 2 non-scientific papers in other journals, 4 abstracts in Book of abstracts and held an oral presentation at international conference.
