Application of Mathemathical Modelling and Intelligent Algorithms in Clothing Construction

Ph. D. Slavica Bogović, senior lecturer, was born on March 31st 1968 in Stuttgart, Germany. She graduated at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Technology in 1991 with the theme "Determining of Processing Parameters of Cutting with Band Knife Cutting Machine", under the mentorship of Prof. Dubravko Rogale.
She got the Rector's award of University of Zagreb in 1990 for work entitled "Determining of Processing Parameters of Cutting with Band Knife Cutting Machine", under the mentorship of Prof. Dubravko Rogale. From July 1991 till December 1992 she worked in knitwear company "Nada Dimić" on jobs of quality control and as technologist. From 1992 she was employed in Department of Clothing Technology Faculty of Textile Technology University of Zagreb.
In May 2000 she got the Master's degree at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology, with the theme: "Matrix transformation of rotation and symmetry in computer interpretation of clothing cuts" under the mentorship of Prof. D. Rogale. In July 2012 she got Ph.D. degree at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology, with the theme “Clothing construction adapted to physical deformities using topological invariants” under the mentorship of Prof. D. Rogale.
Her research activity is in technical sciences, computer construction of clothing, garment construction, garment pattern modelling.

She was co-author of university book "Computer systems for construction preparation in clothing industry". She has published 3 chapters in book, 3 original scientific papers, 8 scientific papers at international conferences, 1 professional paper, 6 scientific paper at national conferences. She has collaborated in preparation of one study and technological-economic project for Croatian economy. She has collaborated in preparation of program module of computer system for design and construction of clothing by Lectra Systemes which is intended for Croatian market (1995).
